Welcome to my blog - where I can share my personal life and my photography! I am married to the most wonderful man and I have an amazing little boy who lights up my every moment. I have always loved taking pictures but over the past few years it has really become a more serious passion. I think one of the most fun things about taking someone's picture is being able to CAPTURE that particular moment in time so that it can be held onto forever! I prefer natural light, on location photography that allows people to just be themselves. Rock The Shot Photo Contest: Favorite of 2012

 


Rock The Shot has a monthly contest and this month's theme is "Favorite Shot of 2012". This was really hard for me to narrow down and decide ... each image, each session has so much meaning to me and the meaning and love behind the image is often what I love most. I finally chose one favorite (although I have many) and I think this image stuck out to me because Anna didn't really want to have anything to do with having photographs taken - she just wanted to play - but this image of her lying on a family quilt seemed to capture her beauty and childhood innocence perfectly.
