hello two thousand thirteen ...

Happy New Year!! I am looking forward to this new year and I have high hopes for SimplyCapturedPhotography in the new year. In 2012 I feel like I finally found my style and began to feel more confident with my photography as a part-time business! In 2013 I hope to capture a little more lifestyle photography than I did in 2012. The session I keep dreaming about is a Mother/Daughter session where the Mommy and Little Girl bake cupcakes or a cake in their kitchen with dreamy natural light ... and I am just there to capture the moment. I also plan to keep pushing myself to learn more and to get out of my comfort zone more so that I can continue to grow.

I want to thank everyone who welcomed me into their families for a few hours in 2012 ... I truly enjoyed each and every session this past year. I hope to see you all again in 2013 as well as many new faces. I just feel so blessed that God has given me the love and gift of photography, and I pray that I share the Love and Grace of HIM through each session.

*****My husband, Andrew, bought me a new 85mm lens for Christmas so I have decided that any session held in January or February will include a disc of 20-30 fully edited, high resolution files for a total cost of $85.00!!
