Boys Will Be Boys

Having two boys of my own, I've learned a few things: Boys typically don't like getting their picture taken ... they don't like to put on nice clothes and be told not to get dirty ... they don't like to smile when you ask them to - But they sure do look super cute when you put them in nice clothes and this group of boys has a whole lot of cuteness! I think it is so great that this group of cousins are growing up so close to each other and it was great getting to hang out with them for a little while and capture their fun personalities.

Little C Is One!

Last night I met up with one of my favorite families at their new home to document Little C for his first birthday! He is such a cutie and his blue eyes are just beautiful. Now, I thought all little ones loved cake, especially their first taste of something so sweet but this little guy proved me wrong really wanting nothing to do with the cute cake his mommy had made him for his cake smash. I'm sure his big sister didn't mind that at all since I think that meant there was more for her :)

Beautiful "B" Family

The rainy weekend tried to ruin our plans for a fun family park session but luckily the rain stayed away just long enough Sunday evening for me to meet up with the beautiful B family. These are two super cute kiddos, as you can all see, and it was great to see them again and it was especially great to capture them as a family this time around!

I love getting the opportunity to photograph families over and over again ... the kids usually get more and more comfortable with me and it starts to feel like spending time with good friends who just happen to also be clients.

Lorna + Kyle

Lorna and Kyle are planning a September wedding at Lewis Farm ... which I know will be beautiful. We met last night out at the farm to document their engagement. We ventured all over the farm to find great backgrounds and the perfect light. I had a horse sneeze all over me and then nuzzle my neck when I was trying to shoot ... needless to say it was pretty funny.

Sarah & Corbett: Morning Glory Farm Wedding

Sarah and Corbett were married last weekend at one of the most gorgeous places, Morning Glory Farm. Sarah looked stunning and arrived at the ceremony in a horse drawn carriage. The bride and groom said their vows overlooking the beautiful pond and in front of a wooden cross that was just perfect. Then they celebrated their big day under the tent with music, dancing, and bbq!

I've had such a wonderful time getting to know these two ... You can feel the love they have for each other. I pray that God blesses their marriage with many years of love and happiness!
