Welcome to my blog - where I can share my personal life and my photography! I am married to the most wonderful man and I have an amazing little boy who lights up my every moment. I have always loved taking pictures but over the past few years it has really become a more serious passion. I think one of the most fun things about taking someone's picture is being able to CAPTURE that particular moment in time so that it can be held onto forever! I prefer natural light, on location photography that allows people to just be themselves. Allie is ONE!!

After two reschedules due to rain I was finally able to meet up with the "V" family to capture Allie for her first birthday! The weather was absolutely perfect and the light was gorgeous - creating lots of pretty haze and fun sun flares. Allie is so precious and was such a trooper through her session ... smiling and clapping - much different from her newborn session where she just wasn't quite sure about being stripped down to her diaper for some stranger to take her picture :) You can see her newborn session here and here.

Heather and Andrew, Thank you guys for allowing me the pleasure to capture your beautiful family ... it always means a lot when someone calls for a second session!! Allie is such a cutie and I had a great time with you guys.

(Allie's Mommy, Heather, made the awesome "Happy Birthday" banner and amazing smash cake ... so crafty and a photographer's dream!)

    I LOVE these! When we first saw the pictures I couldn't believe that was my little Allie Brooke! Thanks so much again for working with us to reschedule and being so flexible. You did a great job :)
