Sweet 16
I headed out to Belmont tonight to capture Elisabeth for her "sweet 16" portraits. Elisabeth will be 16 in just a couple of weeks and I am so glad I was able to help her celebrate with a photo session.

Beautiful "B" Family
This past Sunday afternoon I met up with the B Family ... after a rainout on Saturday we couldn't have custom ordered a better evening to hold a portrait session. And what could be better than gorgeous weather? - a beautiful, fun family!!

Rock The Shot Challenge: Laughter
When I saw that Rock The Shot's September Challenge theme was laughter I immediately thought of this image ... laughter from a child is laughter/happiness in its purest form! In this image, Wyatt was laughing at his Daddy - I'm not exactly sure what was going on behind me but whatever it was Wyatt was loving it (as did I since I love to capture genuine smiles).

Allie is ONE!!
After two reschedules due to rain I was finally able to meet up with the "V" family to capture Allie for her first birthday! The weather was absolutely perfect and the light was gorgeous - creating lots of pretty haze and fun sun flares. Allie is so precious and was such a trooper through her session ... smiling and clapping - much different from her newborn session where she just wasn't quite sure about being stripped down to her diaper for some stranger to take her picture :) You can see her newborn session here and here.
Heather and Andrew, Thank you guys for allowing me the pleasure to capture your beautiful family ... it always means a lot when someone calls for a second session!! Allie is such a cutie and I had a great time with you guys.
