Welcome to my blog - where I can share my personal life and my photography! I am married to the most wonderful man and I have an amazing little boy who lights up my every moment. I have always loved taking pictures but over the past few years it has really become a more serious passion. I think one of the most fun things about taking someone's picture is being able to CAPTURE that particular moment in time so that it can be held onto forever! I prefer natural light, on location photography that allows people to just be themselves. Happy Birthday To Wyatt ...

Wyatt turns two on Friday July 27th. I wanted to mark his birthday with some photos that capture him at this age. Wyatt LOVES trains so we set off to take his portraits at "a different train" as Wyatt put it (because it isn't Thomas ... ya know, THE train) but got a bit sidetracked in an open field for a few "warm up pics" - and boy am I glad we did because I think those are my favorites. We did finally make it to the train and Wyatt loved running around playing. I think he was a little confused as to why it wasn't moving and why there wasn't any smoke - not to mention the fact that we weren't in the mountains. Nevertheless, I think he thought the "different train" was almost as cool as Thomas.

Wyatt amazes us everyday - he is so smart and quite witty. We fall more and more in love with him each day and a minute away from him seems like a lifetime. He fills our house with love and laughter. I can't believe he is turning two ... time seems to be speeding up with each day ... but we try to relish every moment, soak up every hug, and treasure every "I love you so much".

      Thanks Ashley. He will probably end up hating the camera since I am always taking pictures of him :) For now, though, he is quite the ham.
