Hank Newborn Portraits

My baby nephew, Hank, came home from the NICU after almost 5 weeks. He was born a month and a half early but was blessed with such a great start to life to be so early. At 27 days new I was finally able to capture his pure perfection. Normally I would shoot a newborn in the first 10 days of life so the baby is still sleepy and curled up but since Hank was in the NICU we obviously couldn't make the deadline ... with that said, He has been the sleepiest most curled up newborn I have shot yet :) He is truly precious and sooo beautiful ... but I am sure you will see that for yourself as soon as you see the images below.

Baby Hank: Images from the NICU

My first little nephew was born today (Happy BIRTHday Hank) 6 weeks prior to his May 6th due date. He is doing great but he will still spend some time in the NICU. I was able to go back and see him today ... yay ... and he was so perfect and beautiful. I captured a few images of him just to mark his day of birth and his stay in the NICU.

I look forward to Hank's newborn session once he is released from the hospital!! He is probably going to think his Aunt Holly has a camera attached to her face :)

Baby Mae, 10 days new

Today I met the "B" family who just welcomed their first child, a precious baby girl named Mae. I love seeing a new mommy and daddy ... witnessing the miracle of life and remembering how wonderful it felt to become a parent myself. Babies are truly a blessing sent straight from the Lord and what a blessing it is to be welcomed into a family's home to capture their very own miracle.

Thank you for allowing me to capture Mae ... she is beautiful! I had a wonderful time and truly hope you love your images. Here is a super long sneak peek because I couldn't narrow down my favorites!

 

 

Hasemeyer Family

My sister, Heather, is pregnant with her second baby ... She is having a boy (see how she found out she is having a boy HERE) and he will make his grand entrance into the world in early May. Today we travelled to Matthews to capture their beautiful family of three before they become a family of four. We found some really neat spots that I will definitely have to visit again. Heather, Eric, and Emma Grace ... You guys are so special to me and I had a great time today. I can't wait to meet my first baby nephew (I have 4 nieces), Hank!!! Here is your sneak peek!

let it snow ...

We had our first snow fall in a couple of years today. This was the first time Wyatt was able to go out and play in the snow so we were all super excited when it started coming down. We bundled up ... probably a little too much ... and headed out to throw snow balls and let jack frost nip at our noses. Wyatt loved it and we had a ball. Now, I think I'm ready for spring :)
