Beautiful Evening ... Beautiful Family

I had the pleasure of seeing the "T" family on Sunday evening on their family's land. The last time I saw this wonderful family baby "I" was just a few days new ... so I was super excited to see how much she had grown and changed. I loved all the bright spring colors they chose for their session ... and both of these little girls were just as precious as can be.

T Family ... Thank you guys for allowing me to capture your beautiful family again ... I always enjoy our time together. WC Friday 8th Grade Prom!

This past weekend we thankfully got a break in the rain, and I was able to capture a large group of 8th graders before their big dance. This was such a beautiful group (I loved all the bright colors) and they all seemed so happy and excited about their fun night.

When It Rains It Pours

So normally if it rains on portrait session day we can easily reschedule the session for another, hopefully prettier, day ... but ... when its prom day there is no reschedule so you just have to figure out how to make the best of it. This past Saturday was the North Gaston Prom and my niece Kenley and her boyfriend Ethan definitely had to make the best of it as it not just rained but poured. Kenley looked absolutely beautiful and was a real trooper ... dress wet - no biggie, hair wet - ahh its fine, friends MIA - no problem ... I just love this girl :)

Kenley and Ethan ... I hope you had a blast at your prom and made some life long memories. You both looked wonderful, and I was honored to document this special moment for you. Here is a sneak peek for you!

Spring Cuties

Little G and B came by for a Spring mini session this past weekend. These cousins were so super cute in their coordinating outfits. They both wanted to eat the plastic eggs ... which made it hard to capture their precious smiles ... but they were both a lot of fun and just a joy to spend time with.

Super L Is 2!

For little L's 2 birthday portraits his mama wanted me to capture him playing with some of his favorite toys. He had dinosaurs, super heroes, trucks and much more. He put on his batman mask and cape and quickly decided that he didn't want to take it off for the rest of the session. :) He was such a cutie in his super hero gear.

Baby J Is Here

Sunday was the perfect day to capture precious little baby "J". What a blessing it has been to take the journey with this family ... from wedding to maternity to newborn! I love getting to know sweet couples and watch as their family grows.

Baby J is a rainbow baby ... as he was a special gift from God after the storm of loss. I love that his Mommy wanted to honor that meaning in a portrait.

Welcome To The World

Welcome to the world baby "C"! I had the pleasure of capturing newborn baby "C" and documenting all her beautiful newness yesterday. She was born on New Year's Eve to very proud parents who were so excited she finally came into this world. Both Mom and Dad watched over the whole session with sweet smiles on their faces ... you could just really feel their complete love for this precious newborn. I'm not sure much beats the feeling of bringing a sweet baby into this world and growing your family!
