Toy Cars, Christmas Trees, and Tools!

Little boys love cars. Little boys love tools. And Little boys love Christmas trees. Today's session included all the things little "T" loves these days. He started off shy but slowly got excited about "fixing" the wooden railings and buildings and before you knew it he was dropping the paci and showing off that million dollar smile.

It's Been A While

"It's Been A While" ... That's how Macey started her email to me booking this session. It's been 4 years since I documented their beautiful farm wedding, and I was so happy to hear from them and get the opportunity to see their sweet family. Macey knew they were about 4 years overdue on a family portrait so it was a great afternoon of catching up. These two kiddos were so funny ... and a lot of fun to watch play with each other. They'd knock each other down, laugh about it, and get back up just to do it again.

Thank you "L" family for allowing me to capture your beautiful family! You were all a lot of fun and it really was wonderful seeing you again. God has surely blessed your marriage!! Here is a sneak peek into our time together.

6 Years Captured

Beautiful "A" recently celebrated her 6th birthday and after our original session date got rained out we were able to enjoy a beautiful sunny afternoon today! I captured little A when she was just a few days new so its amazing to spend time with her today ... now a kindergartner, big sister, 6 year old, sweet big girl! What an honor to be able to document each of these precious kiddos year after year near each of their birthdays. I hope one day they will look back at all of these portraits and be so thankful that their parents made sure to capture them each year.

Winter ONEderland

I met a great new family yesterday and was given the opportunity to capture their beautiful little girl's one year portraits. This little one has a December birthday and will be celebrating with a winter Onederland party! Although the park still looks like fall it is feeling a bit more like winter these days ... maybe little "C" will have some real snow for her birthday :)

I'm not a huge Photoshop person ... I definitely use it to edit all my images but I certainly don't know how to do everything it offers and usually like for my photos to have a more natural look. With that being said ... I played around a little with this last image to try to give a true winter wonderful portrait to fit this cutie's birthday theme! So ... here it is :)

Little Lady Bug

Little Miss "G" came to see me today for her monthly mini to document her at 9 months. She was a little lady bug this month ... a cold little lady bug ... and a super cute one too :)

A Baby On The Way ...

I met a sweet couple today who are awaiting the arrival of their Christmas Baby. It has been a while since I've captured a maternity session and I love them so I was so excited. I was even more excited when we pulled up to our session location ... It was beautiful and perfect ... Lots of wonderful fall color, texture, and so many great backgrounds. Add in a gorgeous mommy to be and well, I just couldn't wait to get started.

Thank you Jon and Liz for a wonderful afternoon ... for finding the best location ever ... and laughing all the way through our session. A Beautiful Spot for a Beautiful Family

The trees are finally getting that beautiful fall color everyone's been waiting to see. It has been a slow start for fall but I'm so glad we are finally getting to see the beauty of fall. Today's session location had the most gorgeous red tree that made for the perfect backdrop for the sweet "B" family. These precious kiddos are growing up so fast ... I started capturing this family when little V was just a few weeks old and he's about to celebrate his 5th birthday - where does time go? I'm so thankful they've allowed me to document their family time and time again.
