Great afternoon in the park!

I had a great time tonight with Rachael, Brian, and little "S". We started at their home ... on their perfect porch ... and then moved on to the park. It was a beautiful afternoon - just perfect for a photo session (well ... it could have been a little cooler). Rachael has never had a "custom" photography session so I was excited to give her a great experience. I love to be able to capture the joy of children and families in a relaxed and fun environment ... and give them something that you typically can't get at a studio.

Beautiful 'C' Family

I loved meeting up with the C family last night ... to capture their family and especially to document Baby L's 6 month "birthday". The bugs and humidity weren't very fun but it was all worth it to photograph this beautiful family at one of my favorite spots. I went to school with both Holly and Ronnie and now they are part of my church family so it was great to share a bit of myself with them through my photography, and I thank them for giving me this opportunity.

Lorna & Kyle's Big Day - A Lewis Farm Wedding, Part One

I love weddings ... the beginning of an incredible journey, a day filled with enough love to last a lifetime, and beauty at every turn. Lorna & Kyle chose Lewis Farm as the backdrop for their big day and everything just seemed perfect. The weather was incredible, especially seeing that it followed a day of unending rain, and guests seemed to enjoy the scenery the farm provides. Lorna looked absolutely stunning in her simple but elegant lace dress ... so stunning Kyle couldn't help but get a little choked up as he saw his bride coming down the aisle. I was so happy to be a part of this special day ... documenting it all from the small touches Lorna's mom worked so hard to create to the sparkler exit.
