Josie, Class of 2016

When Andrew and I started dating and Josie came into my life she was only 4. I can't believe she is almost 18 and almost a high school graduate. Josie is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside and she holds such a special place in my heart!! She's done so well in high school and she has a bright future ahead ... it will be so exciting to see!

Josie + Lathan, Senior Prom

My niece, Josie, and her boyfriend, Lathan, looked wonderful for North Gaston's Senior Prom last night! These two have gone to every special dance and prom together since 8th grade! They are a super cute couple, and I hope they had a blast last night.

Senior Prom 2016

Elisabeth and Jared looked amazing as we took a little bit of time for some prom portraits before their prom. I think Elisabeth chose the perfect dress - she looked beautiful - and her date didn't look too shabby himself :) They really complimented each other so well! Cody, Class of 2016

Today I met up with Cody to document the last months of his senior year. Cody is a horse riding, truck driving, all American country boy so smiling and posing for photographs was on the very end of his To Do list for the day ... but he looked like a natural in front of the camera and we most certainly made the most of the short time we had together.

Cody ... I hope today wasn't too painful!! In the end you made your Mom happy and everyone knows that that's priceless! Hopefully you like what you see :)

Sisterly Love

I have two sisters, one older and one younger, so I understand the bond that is created between sisters ... the love and friendship of growing up together. We go to church with these two young ladies and they wanted to capture their love and friendship with a fun sister session. These two laughed and laughed and were just a joy to be around - their happiness was infectious :)
