Nicole + Jonathan

I met up with Jonathan and Nicole last night to document their engagement. I had no idea that when Nicole mentioned that her fiance's name was Jonathan that I would show up for the session and see an old high school friend. It was great seeing a familiar face, and I loved meeting Jonathan's beautiful and sweet fiance, Nicole. It was a gorgeous afternoon and I loved the location Nicole chose for their portraits ... it was all just perfect.

Newborn Baby K

I love newborns!! Newborn sessions are a lot of work but oh so worth it!! Everything about a newborn is precious ... and I feel so incredibly blessed each time I get to spend time with a new little one just days home from the hospital. Today I met a new family and their first bundle of joy. Baby K is a beautiful newborn ... as you will see ... and I loved capturing all of his cuteness today.

Some New Little Cuties

Wow ... I met two gorgeous little ones this afternoon!! Their Mommy wanted to capture some portraits of her two babies at their home .. by their Christmas tree. The tree was beautiful and just made the perfect backdrop for Christmas portraits. The kiddos were so precious - even if they didn't quite love the idea of sitting still :) and I loved spending a little time with them today.

Happy Birthday Little L

Little L is about to turn ONE and her mommy and daddy wanted to document the special birthday with a photo session!! I absolutely love the precious outfit that they ordered for L's birthday photos and party. We had a plan for this session but Little L had other ideas ... hehe ... so we threw the plan out the window and tried something completely different - which turned out perfect!!!

Love This Family!!

I had the pleasure of meeting up with our neighbors and good friends yesterday afternoon. This family knows how to have a good time, give each other a hard time, and laugh through it all ... which I love! We've loved having them just across the street and would count them as family in a heartbeat. They chose an awesome location and the weather was just perfect. They have the cutest boys (as you will see for yourself) and I had a lot of fun capturing their sweet personalities.

Mountain Wedding!

Victoria and Greg were married in an intimate ceremony in Blowing Rock. The day was dreary and extremely foggy but just minutes before guests began to arrive, the fog lifted and the sun peeked out from the clouds. The fall colors surrounding the ceremony site were perfect. Victoria looked gorgeous and seeing Greg's reaction to his bride walking down the aisle was priceless. The entire wedding was beautiful and heartfelt.

Victoria and Greg are just such a fun couple and I'm so happy for them. I pray God's blessings on their marriage! Here is a super long peek at their big day!!
