My cousin Elisabeth is a senior at Gaston Christian School and will be graduating in May!! I can't believe she is going to be graduating ... especially since I can distinctively remember holding her when she was a baby. Elisabeth decided that she wanted her senior portraits to be more than the "sit down, tilt this way, do you want a fake tree or fake field background" portrait experience that you normally get with school photos. When she asked me if I would do her senior portraits I was honored and excited! Seniors are a lot of fun to capture and I think that its awesome that more and more people are realizing the value of having a true, custom, professional portrait session!
Elisabeth, I love you lots and hope you have the year of your life!! Thank you for allowing me to spend this special time with you and trusting me to capture this special moment for you! Here is your sneak peek ...

- Welcome to my blog - where I can share my personal life and my photography! I am married to the most wonderful man and I have an amazing little boy who lights up my every moment. I have always loved taking pictures but over the past few years it has really become a more serious passion. I think one of the most fun things about taking someone's picture is being able to CAPTURE that particular moment in time so that it can be held onto forever! I prefer natural light, on location photography that allows people to just be themselves. If you are interested in contacting me regarding photography please send me an email to holly@simplycapturedphotographybyhollybenfield.com Oh yeah, and I'd love to hear what you think ... so feel free to leave comments at the end of my blog posts. God Bless!!

One Week New
I feel blessed to introduce sweet & beautiful baby "H". At 7 days new, Baby H was so precious. It took a while for her to settle down and fall asleep but once she did she was a dream. Her parents are absolutely smitten with her as they should be, and I just loved getting to spend some time with her!
Adam and Carrie ... I am so happy for the two of you! Thank you so much for welcoming me into your home and trusting me to capture your little bundle of joy! Here is your sneak peek!!

Beautiful Family
I met a new family tonight at a wonderful park in Fort Mill. This family was super sweet, laid back, and quite the troopers through the heat and bug bites. Plus ... it is always great to capture two beautiful little ones. I fell in love with Fort Mill and definitely look forward to future sessions in this cute little town.
