- Welcome to my blog - where I can share my personal life and my photography! I am married to the most wonderful man and I have an amazing little boy who lights up my every moment. I have always loved taking pictures but over the past few years it has really become a more serious passion. I think one of the most fun things about taking someone's picture is being able to CAPTURE that particular moment in time so that it can be held onto forever! I prefer natural light, on location photography that allows people to just be themselves. If you are interested in contacting me regarding photography please send me an email to holly@simplycapturedphotographybyhollybenfield.com Oh yeah, and I'd love to hear what you think ... so feel free to leave comments at the end of my blog posts. God Bless!!

Farm Wedding: Macey & Kyle {Part One}
So here it is ... part one of Macey and Kyle's wedding sneak peak! This wedding was beautiful, full of love and life, full of happiness and excitement. The venue was Lewis Farm in Gastonia, NC and I was amazed at the transformation of this working farm into the perfect setting for a rustic, yet elegant wedding. I loved all the little details, the colors, the flowers, the horses that grazed in the fields surrounding the ceremony site, the old truck parked just perfectly, and the "make yourself at home" feeling that was wrapped into the entire evening. Thank you Macey, Kyle, and family for allowing me to be a part of your special day ... for taking a chance on a photographer who usually captures families, newborns, and kiddos rather than weddings ... I found through this experience that I might just be a wedding photographer too :)
Here is Part One ... Part Two will follow in the near future ... I hope these images express the feeling of being present for this wonderful day!
