Happy 1st Birthday to my Baby!

Sawyer is ONE! This has been the fastest year of my life. I truly can't believe that Sawyer is already a year old. I've enjoyed every second of this past year. It amazes me how much a baby learns and changes in just one short year. I would love to stop time, live in this moment for a little while longer, soak up every second of a barely one year old Sawyer and a four year old Wyatt, and make an infinite number of long lasting memories. I love my boys and I love being their mommy!

Sawyer James at One: Weighs 23 Lbs., Says "Dada, Bye Bye, Go", Tries to say "Thank you and Brother" ... you just can't quite understand either if you don't speak baby, Loves to eat everything and I mean everything, took first steps on 11.19.2014 and is now walking everywhere all the time.

Baby "E" Newborn Portraits

Baby E is 6 days new today! She was such a sleeping beauty while I was there to capture all of her glorious newness. Newborns are such a pleasure to photograph because you walk into someones home and the lights are dimmed, voices are hushed, and then the proud parents bring out this perfect little miracle that is a constant reminder of God's will, love, and glory. I also love getting to witness new parents and the total joy you can see in their eyes ... it is a sweet reminder of my own little ones' first days.

Daniel and Tracie, You are already such great parents ... I can tell that your home is filled with love and love is all a little baby needs! Congratulations on a gorgeous little girl. Thank you for inviting me into your home and allowing me the privilege of documenting memories for the two of you. Here is your sneak peek!!

Gorgeous Family & Beautiful Location!!

Tonight I met up with the "R" family to capture their gorgeous family. This session was a year in the making ... this time last year bad weather and illness forced us to cancel our session on a couple of occasions ... so I was thrilled when they contacted me again this fall to book their family portrait session. I am thankful for their diligence in making a professional session work for their family ... and I hope they too will feel like everything was worth the wait once they see their images.

Hasemeyer Family Portraits

I had the pleasure of capturing my big sis (and bestie) and her sweet, beautiful family!! They haven't had family portraits since I did Heather's Maternity Portraits when she was pregnant with Hanky so it was great to finally find time for all of us to meet up and capture their gorgeous family of 4.

Erika Bridal Portraits

My little sis got married last night. I am so happy for her and her new husband, Andrew! Before her big day, Erika and I met to capture her bridal portraits. She looks absolutely beautiful in these portraits and I have really looked forward to sharing them ... it was hard to wait!

"W" Family

I met up with the "W" family this afternoon in downtown Belmont. It was a little intimidating photographing 4 boys plus dad knowing that guys usually would rather be anywhere but in front of a camera, but these boys were a hoot and seemed to enjoy themselves ... well at least more than I expected them to :) I love getting the opportunity to capture new families, and I really appreciate the "W" family for allowing me to spend some time with their beautiful family this evening.
