Hand Carved Wine Corks

My husband, Andrew, has been truly blessed with an amazing artistic ability. Following in his dad's footsteps he tried his hand at wood carving and has found it to be not only an enjoyable hobby but a way to make a little extra money while he stays home to care for Wyatt (and soon, Sawyer). I thought I would post a few images of his wine cork carvings. He also does ornaments or carvings that just sit as decoration. I will try to post photos of some of his other work soon.

Collin's Turning 3!

Tonight I got to meet up with the "B" family for our annual portrait session!! If you follow my blog you have definitely seen this adorable family before. I can't believe Collin will be 3 next month ... time just flies by. It really means a lot to me that I've been trusted to capture this family since Collin was just a few weeks old. I always enjoy catching up with them and seeing how much Collin has changed!

I had the opportunity to meet a new family last night and from the moment they got out of the car I knew it was going to be a great session. First of all this is a GORGEOUS family. Second, they all had great personalities and the youngest girls were a hoot. And can you believe this beautiful Momma has had 5 children (a set of twins to boot)?? Dad and Mom are on the brink of celebrating their 19th wedding anniversary ... and you could just feel the love between the two of them. This family is truly blessed and I felt truly blessed to meet them and to capture their love, beauty, and silliness too.

One of My Favorite Families ...

I met with the "M" family last night at a local park to capture their beautiful family for their 2nd annual fall photo session. It was pretty cold and the wind wasn't helping matters but it was a great afternoon and I had a lot of fun with this family!! I can't believe how much all the kiddos have grown and changed since last year ... that is why family photo sessions are so important - time flies by and children grow and change way too fast to keep up. I feel blessed to be asked to help this family capture these special memories again this year ... thank you "M" family - you guys are awesome!
