Merry Christmas .... a few days late

I hope you all had a blessed Christmas!! I wanted to wait until Christmas cards were mailed and received before posting these portraits of Wyatt since a couple of them were on our card. These were taken at Bass Lake in Blowing Rock. It is a beautiful spot but we were about 15 minutes too late for the good light ... but we made do.

H Family Part Two

Beautiful Family, Beautiful Afternoon

I met up with the 'H' Family this afternoon outside the gardens to capture their sweet family. They have a little boy who is almost 3 and who wanted nothing more than to be thrown high into the air by his daddy and a 7 month old little girl who, I think all will agree, looks like a beautiful porcelain doll. I was so excited to freeze this very special moment in time for them. Thank you all for a wonderful afternoon. Here is your super long sneak peek.

 

It's A ...

My sister Heather is pregnant with her second child ... with her first she elected not to find out the gender until the birth but this time she wanted to know. I proposed having an announcement photo shoot and she agreed. I was honored to go to her ultrasound with her this past Friday and was so excited to find out whether she was having a baby Hank or a baby Mary.

Going into today Emma Grace had no idea that she was going to become a big sister so first Heather and Eric announced to her that her mommy was pregnant then ... drum roll please ... they opened the trunk to reveal the gender of their baby.

Bean Family

I met up with one of my favorite families this afternoon at Lewis Farm. In a couple of weeks Collin will turn two so we took this opportunity to capture this special stage in life.
